600 Jasmine Drive

600 Jasmine Drive (2017)
Jones County, Georgia, U.S.A.
Residential

600 Jasmine Drive is just any typical suburban house in the neighborhood of Clifton Ridge. Based on the plan, The front façade will consist of only brick material, and the base will also be made of brick as well. All sides of the house will be covered in wooden cladding (in these pictures haves a yellow-tan color to it), which includes the chimney.

This video will show 360 degrees of the house.

Also, I've attached the floor plans. CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE FLOOR PLANS, the house is one story, with the exception of the attic. It will have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The garage can hold about one car, but has enough space inside for 2. All walls are 6 1/2 feet, except the wall between the laundry room and Bedroom 1's closet which is 8 1/2 feet. All windows have the same width except the master bathroom. The house height is 10'2 feet, plus the roof height is 19'11 feet total.
Trivia_The master bedroom/master bathroom floor plan is the same structure as my mothers house, along with many other houses along Springfield neighborhood off Northside Drive in North Macon.

I decided to do the site draft in a more 3-dimensional view, or birds-eye. The road up front is Jasmine Drive. If you live in the house next door, or if you know someone who lives there, if this house gets build, just know there will be a new neighbor.

Spear Attack

Spear Attack! (2016)
Environmental Modeling_ Art Institute of Atlanta
3D Modeling, Scene, Game Design

Spear Attack! is what I called this project that I had worked on from Environmental Modeling. The hardest part of this assignment was using Unity for the first time. The image above this paragraph, along with the next two images are scenes from Unity. From image 4 onward, Those were all done by mental ray in Maya.
For the class assignment, We are suppose to model an environment from Maya, and export it from Maya and into Unity. I'm gonna get my feelings out the way, I'm very proud that I could accomplish this and it does look very creative, unfortunately, if I had known more of what the course was about, I'd done something else for this class. When I took the class, I looked at it in the more architectural visualization and more advance creation standpoint, but the course is only for expression of the actual scene like modeling something and telling what the story is actually about. Instead, I  just wanted to model something that looked cool, and right now, is something I regret. On the other hand though, It looks okay.

The idea of this scene was to mix West African culture with the two video games of Cel Damage(2001), and Need for Speed Underground 2(2005). The lighting and texturing came from the NFS Underground 2 concepts, as the wooden blocks and the weapons show that the game is similar to Cel Damage concept. In Maya, I was sorta able to pull it off, but when sending it to Unity, it had a different feel. In the end though, I'm very proud with this assignment.

McGriff Food Mart

McGriff Food Mart (2016)
East Macon, Georgia, U.S.A.
Commercial, Convenience

McGriff Food Mart is an actual store, but currently one of the smallest convenience stores in the area. When scouting this business in Google Maps, I was impressed with how close to a food business this became. I had this vision of a new store coming into the area, and for those local to Emery Highway in Macon, There's not very much going on around Ft. Hawkins landmark. I decided to design a new store and dedicate this store to McGriff off of 342 Cowan Street. The new store location, however, is right off Emery Highway.
About the actual model. I designed two pavilions; The one where the main entrance is, and the one where the delivery garage and the storage is located. Both have slanted metal roofing. Along the roofing forms quadrilateral windows planes.

This 360 degree video shows the entire building. It's like many other mini-marts out there.

As I mentioned, the store would be located off Emery Hwy. It's only a few streets from Fort Benjamin Hawkins. There would be two parking lots and not much else, just a pretty basic convenience store.

Lumasia

K. Ammons Lumasia (2016)
Location TBD
Science Fiction, 3D Modeling

For the sake of the genre, I decided to model something that would look more colorful and interesting. I decided to model this light lab, and in this lab, just the light stands out. This was modeled in Autodesk Maya, with some of the textures added from Photoshop. The light lab is just a place where people come and experiment with unreal physics, and play around with the colors of the light in these large tubes.

I gave the large tubes a ramp shade of color to make it more appealing. The light is protected by glass, and most of the major controls come from the monitors that stand in front of the tubes.

For personal reasons, I added semi PC's. I wanted to just show off the lab and add more technology. The desktop was re-done in Photoshop.

As you can see, Blue and Green are my colors, which is why I use them for my lab. I also placed my symbol on the polished floor, and on the computers desktop as well. This is MY lab, because I designed it, and I made it! Normally, I don't name stuff after myself, so I just use my online name for the title...

'Lumasia', however, comes from the word 'Luma' or 'Lumas' which means to emit light, comment below if I'm wrong.

Southwest Gate

Southwest Gate (2016)
Macon, Georgia, U.S.A.
Commercial, Retail

Southwest Gate is a new resurrected version of the former Westgate Mall in Southwest Macon. Earlier, I did a project called Westgate Renaissance, but that started to become crap! So, Instead I looked up images from the 1961 version of the mall, and decided (after so many useless ideas) to design a shopping plaza that looks like the Westgate Mall. The butterfly symbol that the mall holds a sign of revival.
The mall would consist of tenants(possibly the tenants left over at the current shopping center), two anchors, accessories, administration, and a two-story auditorium. Also like from the planned
image of the 1961 mall, I placed a water fountain.

The image(above) just shows a diagonal view of the plaza. Anchor A is at the left end, where Colonial Stores, Gilberg's, and Cloth World were located.

The image(above) is a clear shot at Anchor B, which many would say be the location of Big Apple, Piggly Wiggly, and Scotty's.

The image(above) is the entrance to the administration and accessories lounge. To the right is the back of the auditorium. (The auditorium would've been where JJ Newberry's, Burlington, and Key Wholesale Distributors would've been)

The plaza is enclosed from the inside, with the exception from the two anchors and the admin/access entrances. To get to the tenants/auditorium, One would have to go inside the plaza unless they went in from rear entrances.

If this project were to happen, The former-OfficeMax/Stacy's (Last I checked was going to be an American Freight Furniture) would remain standing. Also I would keep the bank that was in front of where Walmart is located.
As for the Walmart location, and the strip next to it, It would be demolished (of course) and several tree's would be planted to try and believe nothing used to be on the site.

This is almost the same tactic that Macon Mall had pulled in 2011, which was getting the place to form the way it did early on. Macon Mall had a 4 anchor facility, but a two anchor wing was added to the east part in 1997. Due to decline and consolidation, that same wing was torn down around 2011-2012, and the mall became a 4 anchor facility again.

On the flyer above, I have the site plan for the new shopping plaza. I also have comparing images of the new plaza and the old Westgate Mall

Short story about Westgate Mall; The mall opened back in 1961, but declined around the late 1970s. In the 1980s, The mall became an outlet mall with Walmart (and a tenant strip) being added to where Colonial stores was located. That plan sucked, so in 1994, they demolished the original mall (except for Walmart), and built a set of Major anchors like Home Depot, Burlington(from the old mall), Shoe Carnival, Media Play, Office Max, and PetSmart. The mall became Westgate Shopping Center. Walmart and all the Major anchors left the shopping center but a few small tenants remain in the current shopping center. Burlington was the last to leave, which was back in Fall 2015.

Here is a 360 degree video of the entire plaza. The video shows the entire new building from the outside.

Southwest Gate is a prop of historical pain. The mall/shopping center died not once, not twice, but three times. It's very upsetting to once again see an eyesore. But this project makes me believe it would soon change, and once again be brought back.

ATHF Living Room

Aqua Teen Hungerforce_ Living Room (2016)
Setting: New Jersey (in some cases Seattle)
3D Modeling, Scene, Environmental

This is the home of the Aqua Teen, where the homies aren't home, and the dirty messy scene. For those foreign to the title, Aqua Teen (originally titled Aqua Teen Hungerforce) was a series programmed on Adult Swim. It's one of Adult Swims most native series.
In the cartoon, The living room has this realistic like setting, but everything looks like clip art. I decided to model the room, along with most of the furniture in 3-Dimensional. In additional, I thought of making the living room messy, and as though a messy college student had been hanging around the area. If you look at the house in general, you would know that the crew take terrible care of their house (The lawn hasn't been mowed, the roof is crooked, there is graffiti on the garage, and so on and so forth). In the living room; There are wood chippings from the walls, the nightstand's paint is peeling off, trash is all over the floor, water cup has spilled on the carpet, the column broke from the kitchen post, an outlet burned out, base board is broken, and there's a huge blue stain on the carpet.

The ideal signs show that the television is on (showing Adult Swim sensation Dr. Weird), the video game console is out, Doritos are spilled from the bag, Bills and eviction mails are placed on the front coil table, trash is balled up and on the floor, boxes laying around, stove pan on fire, and a few water stains on the wall. These signs should indicate Laziness.

In connection with Adult Swim, I placed a Robot Chicken poster next to the kitchen post. The picture is torn up half way, and the paper folds are visible.

Here's a concept image of the ATHF Living Room (Normally, the living room isn't messy, however the house still has maintenance issues) In this image are two of the ATHF characters; Master Shake(right) and Frylock(left). Meatwad's another character in the show as well. Yes, The tenants are food items.

This is the second Cartoon Network reference I posted on this blog, The first being the Powerpuff girls bedroom from several months back.

a kitchen

a kitchen (2016)
3D Modeling, Interior Design

This is just a 3D test that I'm working on personally. I decided to model a kitchen to 'elite' my modeling skills better. I used Afrikaan style art, in some cases, as décor for the kitchen such as the 3 pictures near the fridge, the canvas abstract next to the window, the two dishes that guard the stove, and the pattern rug.

This scene was modeled in Autodesk Maya and the images tweaked in Adobe Photoshop.
