Blaine Elementary School

James G. Blaine Elementary School (2016)
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
Education, Academics

Blaine Elementary School(currently known as Blaine Academics Plus) is a prototype copy of Perilnorth Middle School, which was a project I had done earlier. The gym, cafeteria, auditorium, and the front building have a complete similarity to the middle school, which is only streets North of the possible new Blaine Elementary. The difference would be the rear 'science' hall is shorter than the middle school. The first level of the science wing is not science rooms, but has preschool-kindergarten age rooms, for safe exit reasons. The design of the school is another difference, such as Blaine not having a metal roof, but arch's instead.

This is the render of the playground and from the back of the gym/auditorium building(left), and also the primary/science wing building(right). Enclosed with the playground is the asphalt pavement with the basketball hoops and also a yet clear space.

This is just a more Low Resolute image.

The Bus line would be on the North end of the building. This would vary for any reason, but until so, I decided to place the line next to the front entrance. The blue shader is the same height as one floor of the building.

360 degree video of the building. Try and watch this, and the one for Perilnorth Middle, to tell the similarity of the two buildings.

The directory of the school building does relate to Perilnorth Middle, as well. Try and view this and the directory of the middle school to tell the similarity. Remember, Because this is an elementary, there are noticeable differences.

This is the school site plan. North 31st Street would be a mistake, but it's not. Stanley Street would have to be razed to make way for space. There are many alternatives to avoid this idea. In general though, Blaine Elementary School is just a ideal pair with the Perilnorth Middle School.
