Nouveau Tavern

Nouveau Tavern (2017)
Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.
Commercial, Restaurant

Nouveau Tavern was a New Orleans-based bar that used to be along W. Ontario, but this new facility that I've designed would become a new restaurant at the site of Cabrini Green.

If you look at the building, it's big enough for two stories, and it gives a strong masonry wall appearance when you look inside and still see brick interior.

The floor plan is a PDF file.

If you download the 3D Model, it comes with the textures and the collada file. If you have SketchUp, Blender, Unity, or whatever site takes a dae, it should at least plug in the model

This is the Nouveau Tavern sign that's from the original restaurant. A lion with a huge ring around his nose in a square, as the colors are black and gold; it's pretty class-friendly.

If you're familiar with the area, You'll notice that Jenner School of Arts is right behind the site, that the building takes half of, and again, The location would be off of 478 W. Oak Street.

This is the site location for the building. The map is from Google Maps, by the way. You can see one of the apartments of Northside right next to the site. (If this were a real plan, it might not be such a bright idea. Why? Read just below)

Meet Mr. Marsette Magnum, he's the co-owner of Nouveau Tavern, and man, he's had a lot of hell trying to operate the restaurant. In this video, He explained to Dr. Boyce Watkins about the racism he dealt with operating the restaurant on W. Ontario (aka River North). This video was back in 2015, which was when the restaurant had permanently closed.
JUST INCASE THE VIDEO DOESN'T PLAY
