Mickey D's (McDonald's)

Mickey D's_ Plantation Center (2017)
Macon, Georgia, U.S.A.
Commercial, Fast Food, Restaurant

Mickey D's is McDonalds, just nickname. The Mickey D's building, here, is a new design model for the franchise stores. This was designed for the Plantation Center store in Macon, Georgia. It's one of the few stores, in the city, that still has the late 90s design (you know, the old color playplace logo in the front).

The main focus of this building, is the focal point façade. Look at the average McDonald's stores built in the late 2000s; You'd notice the yellow arc on the top of the building, and up front. Well, I decided to do the same thing, but instead of facing it forward, it's facing upward. The front of the store is the yellow arc that's made to look like a curved wall instead of a curved roof. You'd have to look downward (like on Google Maps) to see the yellow arc(s).

I decided to keep the 'Drive Thru' canopy style as the same, especially since the current Plantation Center store upgraded it, despite keeping the same facility.

Also, For those using Google SketchUp, There is a direct component you can download from 3D Warehouse.

As you can see from the site plan, the new store would just replace the existing store, with a few arrangements with the parking lot. So far, I'm lovin' it. The address is 6210 Zebulon Road.

Nouveau Tavern

Nouveau Tavern (2017)
Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.
Commercial, Restaurant

Nouveau Tavern was a New Orleans-based bar that used to be along W. Ontario, but this new facility that I've designed would become a new restaurant at the site of Cabrini Green.

If you look at the building, it's big enough for two stories, and it gives a strong masonry wall appearance when you look inside and still see brick interior.

The floor plan is a PDF file.

If you download the 3D Model, it comes with the textures and the collada file. If you have SketchUp, Blender, Unity, or whatever site takes a dae, it should at least plug in the model

This is the Nouveau Tavern sign that's from the original restaurant. A lion with a huge ring around his nose in a square, as the colors are black and gold; it's pretty class-friendly.

If you're familiar with the area, You'll notice that Jenner School of Arts is right behind the site, that the building takes half of, and again, The location would be off of 478 W. Oak Street.

This is the site location for the building. The map is from Google Maps, by the way. You can see one of the apartments of Northside right next to the site. (If this were a real plan, it might not be such a bright idea. Why? Read just below)

Meet Mr. Marsette Magnum, he's the co-owner of Nouveau Tavern, and man, he's had a lot of hell trying to operate the restaurant. In this video, He explained to Dr. Boyce Watkins about the racism he dealt with operating the restaurant on W. Ontario (aka River North). This video was back in 2015, which was when the restaurant had permanently closed.
JUST INCASE THE VIDEO DOESN'T PLAY

New School Appliances

New School Appliances (2017)
Macon, Georgia, U.S.A.
Commercial, Retail

New School Appliances is a new appliance retail store that sells; fridges, washers/dryers, televisions, and things of that nature. It would be located next to Kohl's in Plantation Village III off of Zebulon Road, for those familiar with northwest side of town.

As of the model, My goal was to achieve more of a Circuit City (former electronic store) look to the building, the brand, and also the appliances which the late franchise used to sell.

The link above is something new I'm trying; If you really are curious about the building, you feel like some changes can be made, or for whatever reason, just download the actual model file. Remember that it's a DAE, if your software doesn't take Collada files then, you'll need to find a software that does. Textures included

Like I mentioned; If the location were to exist, it would be next to Kohl's in the vacant lot (which I know something was originally supposed to be there) in 'Plantation Village III' off of Zebulon Road.

PPG's Bedroom

PowerPuff Girls Bedroom_UPDATED (2017)
Central Townsville_fictional
Scenery, Cartoon, TV Show

Sugar, Spice, and everything nice; These were the ingredients that were chosen to create the room for the perfect little girls. Thus, I accidentally added an ingredient to the project.....mia material x.

Like I already mentioned, the earlier images that I modeled was primarily based off the original series. These images, HERE, are based off the 2016 version of the show.

Some assets from the original images remain in the scene, but many of the furniture and other assets have been replaced, because, during the reboot, the major assets and the era changed.
Some of the assets are picked out of series; such as the Sensitive 'or Senstive' Thugz posters, Oligopoly game box, Hotline cell phone, and Blossoms awards.

Coffee Station

Coffee Station_Art Institute of Atlanta (2017)
Sandy Springs, Georgia, U.S.A.
Food Court, Tenant

For those who know AIA, there is this coffee room in the southeast corner. A Subway Sandwich shop was there for a period of time but closed back in 2016. The space has been vacant, but is going to become a coffee bar like it used to be, before Subway was there.
I designed this coffee bar in a way where it should blend into the school campus environment. I also made some readjustments to the coffee rooms design such as the red canopy above.

The top two images, above this statement, are ambient occlusion images without the textures applied to them.

Here, These two images are wireframe snapshots of the locations that I rendered in. Below is an actual photo of how the space currently looks.

345 Auburn

Wheat Street_345 Auburn (2017)
Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
Studio Space

345 Auburn is along Auburn Avenue in Sweet Auburn, Atlanta. It's right next to Wheat Street Baptist Church where a vacant building is located. It's right at the intersection of Auburn and Hilliard, for those familiar with the area. The building is just for studio space, whether it maybe office, commercial, and/or residential. The building is two floors, and the first floor elevates as it reaches the rear (look at the floorplans to know what I'm talking about)
It's a plain building with just a safe house convenience. There's nothing really unique with the exception of something I rarely would do with new buildings; At the left end of the building, I placed a mural of this teen, who looks very disappointed and exhausted, of course, if this were a real plan, there would be many better ideas. I was just mixing in my 2D drawing skills with this project.

This is the back studio. This is where the first floor ramps into this building. Like I mentioned before, Click on the link below to look at the floor plans.

Here's the video of the building, and CLICK ON THIS COMMAND TO OPEN THE FLOORPLAN.

This wouldn't be a bad location. It's along one of Atlanta's most important streets when it comes to the history of the black community. Also, Ebenezer Baptist Church is right down the street from the location, and nearby is the SCLC, Madam CJ Walker Museum, etc. Also, It's right in front of the Atlanta Streetcar rail.
