Morose
Morose (2014)
Macon, Georgia, U.S.A.
Commercial, Studio Space, Plaza
Morose, or The Center of Shade, is this more revised plaza that would replace a current plaza in Downtown Macon, Georgia. The current one would be demolished and this one would be built in its place. Morose is this building that welcomes new studios, especially those that specialize in artistic ability, education, museum exhibits, carpenter work, medicine, and that sort of stuff. I decided to make it three floors to expand for room. Also what I attached to it was a four to eight space food court (Ignore the logo's, they are just made up to show the place of the title). Morose and it's food court fills the entire space of where the current plaza sits. I designed it with black lining and used gray as well to show it more appealing. This was also why I designed Sierra in mostly black, because it stands out. I really adore the roof and the style where these simple obstacles rise up from the top, such as from 'The Shoppes of River Crossing' in north Bibb County, so I did the same with Morose and the food court. Also note, This would be right down the street from Sierra.
I did three renderings from Thea. The top two show the background of the sky. This was the first time for me to experiment with the background images on Thea Rendering. The first one was done without the lights put in.
These are the sides of the building. Morose is the three-story building on the far right as you can see the food court is actually longer. By size, The food court is not meant to have large tenants.
As I mentioned, Morose and it's food court would fill in the space of the current plaza. The parking deck behind aligns with the building and it's wing. Also note, The building of where the parking deck is, also was a new downtown developed building.
