Old Clinton Bar BQ

Old Clinton Barbecue (2014)
Gray, Georgia, U.S.A
Commercial, Diner, Classical

Old Clinton BBQ is a current eatery in South Gray, Georgia. I've heard they was one of Georgia's best, and it was well known especially in the Central Georgia region, so I decided to give a gift to the main store. I designed a new diner just beside the current building. I know that the current building isn't one of those modern style joints, so I didn't want to make the new building modern, neither. Instead, I created more of a classical mid-20th century diner, you know, during the times Dr. King had a dream and during the baby boomer generation after the Vietnam War. My goal was to set the restaurant in a past era, and not the era of today. If this building were to exist, It would be perfect to keep the current place as a historical landmark, or whatever the case.
The way I designed picture above is similar to how I designed Waffle House off Ashford Dunwoody. I placed the tree's in the background to give the illusion of Old Clinton being surrounded by trees.

This is just a Thea Render. Nothing really new compared to the other pictures. This is just to show a more realistic building when it comes to brightness and value.

These are the sides of the building. From top to bottom is the Front, Back, Right, and Left. And yeah, I also designed an outside diner where people can also eat outside. It's also a convenience just incase the building is crowded.

I assumed this was a small mythical project, so I also designed a map. It just shows the floor plans of the inside. I am not familiar with how the Kitchens are constructed (except for Subway Eat Fresh), so I designed no obstacles in the kitchen. This is just a pre-draft.

This is just a ariel view. For those who are confused of what I said in the first paragraph about the location, Where the white rectangular block is where the diner is. Where it says 'Preserved Landmark' is the current building. The logo below shows the picture of the current building of Old Clinton BBQ. This eatery has existed since 1958, the same time classic diners existed.

Designing and informing about this is making me hungry right now.
